SO15 Removals and local delivery of large items August 2022
Alan was asked to move our furniture and belongings from a first floor flat in one block, across the gardens to a second floor flat in neighbouring block. No lifts in either block, just stairs ! On top of all that they were asked to deliver a shelving unit, a double bed and a leather sofa to three separate addresses in the local area. Alan and his team arrived on time and simply got on with the job, exactly as they had done in the previous two times I have used them. Very efficient, very polite, very reasonably priced. Great service from these guys moving us from Southampton to Romsey they where
on time and quick to respond a good price and made moving day very easy.
they packed up our stuff moved us and put the furniture to the other end. They even came back the next day to finish putting the furniture up as had run out of time due to some issues with the solicitors.

House moving is stressful at the best of times. It’s fair to say that they/we underestimated the amount of garden furniture and plants by quite a bit. However, there was no complaining or groaning, they literally just got on with it. We had smaller vans, which meant a few more trips were required. As we were moving locally, this was not a problem, and again, they just got on with it. A very long, busy, exhausting day for the four guys who moved us. Would I recommend them YES, will I use them again YES. Nice guys, hard working and reliable.

Alan and his guys were fantastic! Moved us from a retirement flat in Lancashire to same in Southampton, both with lots of stairs! This was a big move and took two trips to Lancashire and back as well as putting stuff in storage and flat. All were really helpful and Alan was great at keeping in contact throughout. I would definitely recommend AST to anyone. We moved from a very awkward, three storey town house that we had massively outgrown, with a great deal of flat packed furniture that couldn't fit out of the house and very difficult stairs, and I can't begin to say what utter life savers AST were. From moving heavy plant pots from a roof garden to dis- and re-assembling our furniture, waste removal and even helping us pack what we'd fallen behind doing. It was a full day and a half work and they stayed helpful and cheerful throughout despite the ridiculous amount of work. Have already recommended to friends.

AST Removals also wrap any pictures, mirrors, TVs and anything delicate if needed. We also shrink and blanket wrap to protect furniture.

Gold service... which everything is wrapped and packed and placed exactly where you would like it in your new home (Boxes and pictures unpacked is extra) we are there when ever you need us to answer all your questions, we use a special cover to cover your master mattress and can label things for you too. We give priority bookings with everything insured.
Silver service... where some delicate items are wrapped and packed and we use a special cover to protect your master mattress also most of your goods are blanketed in the removals vans and placed in certain rooms in your new home with everything is insured apart from what we don't pack.
Bronze service... Witch is a simple man and van with no priority on booking. one removals van where some items are blanketed in the removals van. everything is placed in the closest room and we offer one or two people to help you move. With one man and van we do not assist with move we just pack our removals vans. for man and van bronze removals we offer No insurance with this service.
Silver service is offered on normal house move quotes unless you would like gold or bronze on request.
please note with many removals company's offer a different level of service and a different level of price, with our silver service we offer a higher end quality removals service at a compatible price. if in the advent we are beaten on price please let us know and we can look to beat the price and offer of service. we pride our self's on being compatible whilst offering a good quality service.

we also are one of a very small amount of companies that offer a part house move and part clearance services in the advent you are down sizeng you home or even just want to get rid of a few larger items.
with all of our house clearances and part clearances we dispose of all your goods in the right way of going to a commerical waste manamgent site and this has a cost. as a commercial business we can not go to the councial tip for free and if anyone offers you a price that is very low please be awair that with in the law it is still your duty to make shaw that your waste is disposed of propley and to check companies waste carriers liscence. Also we can offer house clearances from free depending on what goods you would like to dispose of.
